2 months with Wren 🖤 Things we’ve learnt about him so far... Never assume a poo is finished, even after 10 minutes. Always have a muslin over your shoulder because there will always be sick. If all else fails, stick him in front of his brothers or sister and he’ll be happy as Larry. Never assume a car journey will be peaceful. His most favourite place to be is tucked up in my arm, warm, and feeding. Even if he’s full. His smiliest time is first thing in the morning and his most chilled time is any time as long as he’s in the bath. Bath time is the best. He has an umbilical hernia and it creeps us out but we’ll miss it when he it goes back in. I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to saying ‘I have 4 children’. I walk past families with more than 3 and always think to myself ‘wow that’s a lotta kids’ (in an observational kinda way - not in a negative way!) and now I’m over here all ‘yeah my eldest is nearly eleven and then I have 3 more after him’ like WTF? Where did that decade go? Wow, that’s a lotta kids you got there, Charlotte.

Day 13 // Looking out - one of the main things that sold us on this house was the big bi fold doors out to the garden. Although the view was quite the jungle we knew it had heaps of potential. We’re now at the point of about to sew the lawn and we’re so excited to be able to see the garden come to life. Will has done the bulk of it and has worked SO hard levelling the ground out - it was quite the project. We’re definitely not anywhere near where we want it to be out there but the idea of lawn for the summer is making us dream of cold gins and well.
