Mr & Mrs Brickle at The Plough at Leigh

Laura and Ryan were blessed with beautiful weather when they got married at The Plough at Leigh in Tonbridge, Kent back in June this year. I was happy to take a last minute referral from a lovely friend of mine and photograph their wedding day for them. We started the day at Laura's house with her sisters and friends. It was an utter blast and we spent most of it giggling and chatting all things girl.

I made my way over to The Plough at Leigh to meet Ryan and his two best men, along with all the arriving and excited guests just before the ceremony. It's always great when you know some of the guests and luckily for me I knew both the best men which made it an instant warm welcome!

Laura walked down the aisle with her dad in her arm and her sisters and niece leading the way. One of my favourite reactions to getting married is the giggles and wow did Laura get the giggles through the ceremony! A photographers dream! Their ceremony was intimate and beautiful, surrounded by all that love them, even the best men had a few tears in their eyes.

We spotted some gorgeous dappled light in the bushes around the side of the venue so we took full advantage and did a lot of their couple portraits here. Controversially I love some dappled lighting, unlike a lot of photographers, but I really don't mind the splashes of light against the shadows.

The best men's speech was hands down one of my favourite speeches this year. They had the whole room laughing and really got the evening off to a great start. Guests partied hard, the bride and groom partied harder!

A huge thank you to Laura and Ryan for letting me photograph your beautiful day, it was such a blast!
