Maternity Session in Hastings Old Town

I have been itching to shoot in some more urban areas lately and I knew that Kitty would be the perfect person to try out this style on. We wandered through the fisherman huts in search of some scabby walls and cladded buildings, then we took to the main street through Hastings Old Town to search for doorways and alley ways. I was so thrilled with the outcome of these pictures and they have had A LOT of love over on my Facebook page. Quite a few have commented on how different and unique they are and they hadn't ever seen maternity pictures shot this way - which is totally what I was going for!

Here are a few words from Kitty about our session -

"What a fantastic experience I had modelling for Charlotte, she was so chilled and easy to work with, I didn't feel judged or nervous, especially being pregnant I expected to feel pretty insecure but there was none of the that! She told me exactly where to look what to do with my hands, everything ,as not being a "real life" model I was a bit apprehensive as to what I would look like! But I had no reason to be concerned.
Usually if an opportunity comes up like this I would immediately turn it down but I thought, actually why not!? And I am so glad I did it, I now have these amazing photos for life and I am so over the moon with them and love how they've turned out, Charlotte is a very clever and talented photographer and I would recommend her with 100% confidence and will definitely be using her again....if she will have me!"

OF COURSE I would love to shoot her again!!

I'd love to photograph some more families and couples in places like this so if you know of anyone who may be interested then share away and tell them about me!
